    To all whom these presents shall come, greetings.  Know ye that I, Marion Hover, of St. Bartholomews Parish Ashepoo & province aforesaid for the love and affection which I have & do bear unto Michael Razor, son of Michael Razor, of said place & province aforesaid, doth make over and deliver as my act & deed afore the day of my marriage to Michael Razor, father to the mentioned Michael Razor the aftermentioned, slaves Cato, Dido, & Teena to his rights & property to him & his heirs & assigns forever.  And I, the said Marion Hover, for myself & each and every of my heirs & or assigns do by these presents quit any claim or right to the above mentioned three slaves.  In witness whereof I, the said Marion Hover, have hereunto set my hand & seal this thirtieth day of December, one thousand seven hundred & severty four & fourteenth year of his majesty's reign.

    Personally appeared Michael Razor, & after being duly sworn on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God, saith that he did see the within named Marion Hover seal, sign, and deliver the within instrument of writing & acknowledge the same to be her act & deed for the within mentioned consideration, & that he did also see James Ballentine & Sarah Tanny subscribe their names as evidence thereunto.
Sworn this 30th day of Jan'y 1775
