Hannah Raysor  married Joseph Boyett
Settled in Barnwell County, South Carolina

Could this be the sister of Michael Raysor, Jr. ???

May, 2017:  Brenda Antal has shared information that may be very significant to the research of the Raysor families who settled in "lowcountry" South Carolina.  We cannot post copyrighted material, but I am sharing the basic information.

According to Brenda, a Hannah Raysor married Josiah Boyett around 1788. This couple had children in Barnwell District, South Carolina, prior to 1810. Their daughter, Nancy, married a Kitchen Syms/Syms.

A witness to a Barnwell District equity case of 1855 refers to  Nancy's mother as having the maiden name of Hannah Raysor.

Pat Sabin's note:  The original land of Thomas Raysor, Sr. and Jr. is now in Bamberg County, South Carolina, but prior that the creation of Bamberg County, it was in the Barnwell District.

If anyone has more information about this or other related families, please let me know!
