| The William Moss Raysor property was in
the southern portion of the original Thomas
Raysor, Sr. plantation, in the Hunters Chapel
area of what is now Bamberg County, just over the
Colleton County line. It was in Barnwell District
when Thomas Raysor, Sr. purchased the property.
At the time of these photographs, the original farm was
split among several heirs of Thomas Raysor, Jr. I believe these 3 photos were taken on the same day, possibly my grandmother Maud's graduation from high school or college. |
